India won the first final of the CB series by six wickets. This is due to sublime batting display from Sachin and Rohit. Sachin got his first ton on Australian soil and 42nd ton overall. He scored 117 runs in just 120 balls with 10 boundaries. He was in fine touch and it showed right from the start. He dispatched each and every bowler and never looked in trouble.
India's first wicket partnership reached the fifty mark and immediately Robin got out, he was on 17 at that time. Gambhir had a mix up with Sachin and got run out when he was on three. Yuvi as usual got out to Hogg when he had just 10 runs against his name. Indians looked to be in trouble at 87 for 3.
