Diwali for Cricketers

Diwali is being celebrated all over India with lot of sweets and crackers but the cricketers celebrated it in a different manner. Our Indian cricketers watched 'Om Shanthi Om' in Chandigarh. The "Saawariya" was also in their charts but they postponed it (due to Deepika Padukone!!!). Some cricketers like Sehwag decided to savour the occasion with their family members. Sachin came to the cinema hall along with his wife whereas Dhoni had a bag full of crackers when he left for his home. Pakistani cricketers watched the diwali release "Saawariya". But it was Shoaib Akthar who celebrated diwali in a different manner. He visited an orphanage and spent the whole day with those kids. There were many physically challenged kids too. They were over-joyed to see Shoaib on this auspicious occasion. Later Shoaib told that he enjoyed it as much as the kids did. He gave them some gifts, autographs and finally took photographs with them. He might be ferocious on the field but off the field he's a different character altogether.
