Philips windows

Philips exposed us to some of the future gizmos and gadgets in its "sense and simplicity" show. It focused on emerging technology which took a giant leap towards the future. Philips first introduced "Window" with the ability the control the inflow of light and many other features. The window was stylish and sleek in its appearance. Its special feature is that you control the amount of light and even the colour of it by just waving your hand. It's quiet simple as it may sound. All you have to do is to wave your hand from right to left to decrease the intensity of light and the other way round to brighten the room. To make it more lively, there will be some extra dark leaves spreading out of your window to darken the light and when you wave back, they will disappear.
The colour of light entering through your window can be changed by just waving your hand vertically. It has different shades with different illuminations based on your hand movement. This type of windows is mainly used in hotels. These windows also have the ability to refresh you when you are tired. When you check into the room and sit beside your window, blue light will be emanating from it to relax you and make you regain your lost energy. After sometime white light spreads throughout the window to rejuvenate you.

Philips also show-cased the future of medical technology. It unveiled a new blanket which could produce 4D images of an unborn baby in a mother's womb. The patient's heart beat, blood pressure and body temprature can be monitored using this blanket. Also, the doctor can get a full view of patient's X-rayed body or 4D view of any internal organs of the patient. Doctor will have a wall-like screen in which the patient's details will be displayed. He will just login by using his hand's finger-prints and can analyze the patient's status. The equipment is also capable of maintaining ambient room temperature for the patient and also can suggest ideal wake-up time for the patient. The patient can communicate with the people in his house through a wall that is brightly illuminated which is along his bed side. The blanket also alerts the nurse or doctor regarding any abnormalities in the patient's condition.
So we will be getting them in a few years from now, though the critics are questioning about its credibility. Let's hope we get more innovative and good, simple things from Philips
