Cesc Fabregas happy with Arsenal

Another speculation and another denial. This time its from Cesc. Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas admits it is flattering to be linked with Real Madrid, but has again insisted he is happy at the Gunners. Real have long been admirers of the Spanish international, and Fabregas revealed last summer he had spoken with president Ramon Calderon and sporting director Predrag Mijatovic during the close season. Real have so far been unable to bring the former Barcelona youth product back to his homeland, but reports in Spain continue to link the Primera Liga champions with the 20-year-old, with suggestions of a potential swoop this summer.

However, Fabregas is adamant he knows nothing about the rumours and that he is still fully committed to achieving success with Arsenal, with whom he signed an eight-year contract extension last season. "I don't know. We are in January and I don't know anything," said Fabregas in Spanish newspaper AS. "Everybody already knows it makes me happy that a team like Real Madrid wants me. It is a great compliment. (But) now I am at Arsenal and I want to win the Premier League. Right now, I would die for Arsenal. "Here I feel very relaxed and important, and for me that is fundamental. That is invaluable. I enjoy playing." Fabregas admits there is no way of knowing what the future holds for him, though.

"At the age I am now, with all that has happened and when you see how things change in football, it is very difficult for me to say that I am going to go or that I am going to stay," he added. "It depends on many factors. Now I am happy, but you never know what is going to happen."
