It was a shoking defeat for Federer as he lost to Djokovic in straight sets earlier this day. Federer who was the defending champion was knocked out by the third seeded Djokovic in an uncharacteristically short match in which the final sets read 7 - 5, 6 - 1 and 7 - 6 against the world no.1. Now it will be the turn of Djokovic to face the music against Tsong in the finals which will be held tomorrow. Tsong knocked out Rafael Nadal in the other semi-final match. Federer committed too many unforced errors which lost the match for him. He should improve his game as he came out of a similar situation earlier in the tournament against Tipseravic. Meanwhile, Sania and Mahesh Bupathi advanced to the finals of the mixed doubles events. This is the first grand slam finals for the Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. Mahesh has won 6 mixed doubles title with 6 different partners. Let's hope he does that again.
