BCCI and Vengsarkar's rift widened today. He openly accused former board president, I S Bindra for all the things happening around him. He also said that Nilanjan Shah is interfering with the selection process. He is scheduling the meetings according to his will and also picking his own team sometimes. In a mail sent to BCCI, Vengsarkar has mentioned that he is a victim of boardroom politics and he is not given his due rights. This clearly widens the rift further. BCCI replying to that mail has said that they will not bend the rules for anyone and Vengsarkar can quit if he doesn't accomply with the rules of the selectors. BCCI has also instructed him to attend tomorrow's meeting with a clear mind and we have made it paid job now rather than a honored position. They have also one or two alternatives if Vengsarkar fails to sit for tomorrow's selection committee meet. So it is upto Vengsarkar to decide whether he can continue or not.
